Travelling to Mount Lemmon

As tempting as it may be, don’t give up the road for sledding and snow – parking and playing on snowy/icy roads can be dangerous, especially as visibility can change quickly during the winter months, not to mention it’s may charge you a hefty sum. Check out the Oak Hill Snow Play Area, an old ski area from the 1950s that has a couple of great toboggan runs. If you stop a little longer, Benham Snow Playground, a few miles south of Williams (east of Bill Williams Mountain), is another good place to stop and throw some snowballs.

Tickets are in high demand (price available on their website) and can sell out most weekends, but the subway rental is included in the price, so it’s a great option if you just want to come and play for the day.
Activities to Engage in a Mount Lemmon
